The ASHI-GLC chapter now has a complete set of the "ASHI@Home Training System" and is offering it to all GLC members and candidates in good standing via a lending library system. This lending library has been established in an effort to assist all GLC members and candidates that desire to expand their knowledge and skills related to our profession.
Each volume includes a 2" thick binder of printed materials and is accompanied by a corresponding CD-R. Volume length varies somewhat by subject. You should budget approximately 8-10 hours of study time for each volume. Each volume contains an incredible wealth of information, so you are encouraged to check out titles again and again! This benefit is made possible by your paid membership and dedication to the ASHI-GLC.
ASHI-GLC has made a significant investment in the purchase of this training system. Please take every precaution to protect it and preserve it in good condition for the next GLC member's use.

In an effort to keep the lending library system as simple as possible, we have established the following operational protocol:
- Check-out is limited to one (1) volume at any time.
- Check-out period is for thirty (30) days.
- Each volume checked out must be returned to the library at the end of the check-out period. (No renewals are offered at this time)
- Each volume, subject to availability, will be shipped to you at no charge once the check-out form and deposit have been received by the ASHI-GLC librarian. You are responsible for all return shipping fees. The volume will be shipped to you inside a reusable shipping container with a return shipping label tucked in the inside front cover. Save this container, along with all included shipping materials, in order to return the volume safely to the ASHI-GLC library. Failure to use the provided container and padding will result in a charge for any damage that occurs to the volume during return shipment. You must insure the shipment for $300.00 in order to properly protect yourself. You will be held responsible for the purchase of a replacement volume in the event of a shipping loss.
- Deposit of $500.00 must accompany the check-out form. Deposit can be in the form of a check, Visa, or MasterCard. Checks will be held through the check-out time period. Once the volume has been properly returned, the check will be shredded. Credit card accounts will only be charged if the volume is not properly returned.
- Late fees accrue at a rate of five dollars ($5.00) per day until the volume is received at the ASHI-GLC library.
